Green H2
Development project for a lowcost electrolyzer for the production of green hydrogen, an R&D project focused on the study, design, construction, and validation of new anion exchange membrane (AEM) electrolyzer technologies. (Green H₂)
Descripción del proyecto:
The main objective of the project was the development, scalingup, and demonstration of an electrolyzer based on proprietary anion exchange membrane technology, achieving a competitive cost compared to other technologies available on the market, for the production of green hydrogen.
The EVER project was divided into two main tasks carried out over a threeyear period:
Development of a laboratoryscale EVER electrolyzer prototype:
This stage involved the evaluation, development, and selection of components. A first laboratory prototype was manufactured to generate the necessary knowledge to address the second stage of the project.
Scalingup and validation of the 1 kW EVER electrolyzer prototype:
In this stage, component manufacturing was scaled up, the system design based on EVER technology was optimized, and a prototype meeting the specific technical objectives was validated.
