ReSil2Volt® technology is a hydrometallurgical solution developed to recover valuable materials from photovoltaic panel waste. Starting with grey mass or silicon powder, obtained through physical and/or thermal processes applied to end-of-life modules, the technology enables the recovery of high-purity metallic silicon, metallic silver, and other valuable byproducts.
Main technology units:
Selective leaching
A specially developed hydrometallurgical treatment separates the silicon metal contained in the grey mass to obtain a high purity silicon suitable for industrial applications.
Silver recovery
The leach solution is subjected to a selective process to recover high purity metallic silver with high yields.
Final purification and obtaining coproducts
The final stage allows the recovery of a 25% aluminum chloride solution and a recoverable metallic fraction containing elements such as copper, tin, aluminum or lead.
